MARCH 9 - All-Star Basketball Returns to Savannah on March 20-21
The GACA North vs. South All-Star Basketball Classic will be celebrating its seventh year in Savannah on Saturday, March 20 and Sunday, March 21. The North vs. South All-Star Basketball Classic is a Greater Savannah Sports Council managed sporting event, which partners with the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association.
The event will feature the top male and female high school athletes from across that state of Georgia. New in 2010 is the addition of a Junior Boys and Girls All-Star Game on Saturday, followed up by the Seniors Boys and Girls playing on Sunday. Both Girls All-Star Games are scheduled for a 2 p.m. tip-off, immediately followed by the Boys All-Star Games at approximately 4 p.m. The North vs. South All-Star Basketball Classic annually attracts 2,500 spectators and is held at Tiger Arena on the campus of Savannah State University.
