MAY 26 - American Cancer Society’s Coastal Empire Golf Championship Tees Up June 25
The American Cancer Society will hold its annual golf tournament on June 25, beginning at 1 p.m. at The Ford Plantation.
The deadline for teams to enter is June 1st. The entry fee is $1,000 per team. All teams that register before the deadline will receive a free round of golf at The Club at Savannah Harbor.
“This is a great opportunity for the participants to play on the exclusive Ford Plantation golf course and receive a free round of golf at The Club at Savannah Harbor,” said Dana Schultz, tournament chair.
This tournament provides a unique experience by hosting a player’s party the night before at Ruth’s Chris on Bay Street in downtown Savannah. Tee prizes, which include restaurant gift cards, will be given out to all team members in the tournament.
Businesses still have time to become a hole and tee sponsor for the event. This is an easy and affordable way for small businesses to get involved with the tournament. Tee and Hole sponsorships are priced at $250.
“The tournament provides an opportunity for local businesses, big or small, to get involved and participate in this wonderful event,” said Ron Williams, Area Executive Director of the American Cancer Society.
Registration will begin at 12 p.m. that day with the shotgun start beginning at 1 p.m.
The American Cancer Society Coastal Empire Golf Championship is open to men and women, both the experienced and the beginner.
