MAY 27 - SCCPS to Hold Open Houses for Proposed Satellite Transportation
The Savannah‐Chatham County Public School System is working to create a more efficient and cost effective student transportation system for next school year. As a part of this effort the staff developed a proposal to operate a satellite transportation system for students who choose to attend a school other than their attendance zone school. The Savannah-Chatham County Public School System will hold three Specialty Transportation Open Houses to provide the details of the proposed plan. Input from the public is requested and greatly desired.

Friday May 28, 2010 Windsor Forest High School 4-7 p.m.
Tuesday, June 1, 2010 Groves High School 4-7 p.m.
The proposed satellite transportation system is not for the following students:
• Students attending their attendance zone schools • Students with disabilities who have an approved Individual Education Plan for specific transportation services
